The Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre provides information on coming events, tours, attractions, accommodation, restaurants, tourist venues and natural sights in the region. Our friendly team are readily available to provide you with key information, helpful advice, answer any questions you may have as well as take care of all your bookings.

Managed by the City of Armadale since early 2006, the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre also provides local businesses with the opportunity to exhibit their products and services. We take pride in representing local Perth businesses and showcasing the best of what Western Australia has to offer.

Day Trips from Perth

A visit to Armadale is the perfect excuse to leave the city life behind and take a day trip that is only 40 minutes from Perth, but feels like worlds away. A short drive will transport you to natural oasis, set in the Perth foothills and surrounded by tranquil bushland, scenic wildlife and Instagram-worthy views.

Start the day with a bushwalk through Araluen Botanic Park or a hike up the Gorge at Wungong regional park. After you’ve taken in the expansive views from the top of Wungong Gorge, make use of the recreation and BBQ facilities by tucking into a pre-packed picnic. Spend the afternoon on the green at Araluen Golf Resort or visit Cohunu Koala Park to cuddle a koala and make friends with Aussie animals. If you’ve timed your day trip from Perth well, you can spend the day wandering one of the many seasonal farmers markets or indulging your taste buds at a local restaurant.
