Things might look and feel a little differently from what we’re used to, so here’s a few tips to make the most out of your stay

  • Parks, playgrounds and reserves within the City of Armadale are back open, come breathe the fresh air and enjoy our wide open spaces. Remember to practice social distancing and good hygiene when exploring our beautiful backyard
  • Book accommodation and make your dining or attraction reservations in advance. Businesses have had to change the way they operate and are working hard to welcome you back with as little disruption as possible. Book in advance to avoid unexpected delays.   • Stay ‘In The Know’. Head to the City of Armadale’s Covid-19 Information Hub for all the latest, or subscribe to our newsletter
  • Make the most of your adventures and start your visit at the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre. We’ve got all the latest on what’s open for business, attractions, walks, trails and more. Open seven days a week. Monday to Friday 9am-4pm and Saturday to Sunday 9am-2pm.

WA’s borders remain closed to interstate and international travellers, we look forward to welcoming you back when it’s safe to do so.

Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre

Wanting to know more about the latest Armadale events and attractions?

Well you've come to the right place, there's no better way to find out about the range of things to see and do in the City of Armadale, than at the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.

The Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre provides information on coming events, tours, attractions, accommodation, restaurants, tourist venues and natural sights in the region. Our friendly team are readily available to provide you with key information, helpful advice, answer any questions you may have as well as take care of all your bookings.

Managed by the City of Armadale since early 2006, the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre also provides local businesses with the opportunity to exhibit their products and services. We take pride in representing local Perth businesses and showcasing the best of what Western Australia has to offer.

Day Trips from Perth

Armadale is the perfect excuse to leave the city life behind and take a day trip that is only 40 minutes from Perth, but feels like worlds away. A short drive will transport you to natural oasis, set in the Perth foothills and surrounded by tranquil bushland, scenic wildlife and photo-worthy views.

Start the day with a bushwalk through Araluen Botanic Park or a hike up the Gorge at Wungong regional park. After you’ve taken in the expansive views from the top of Wungong Gorge, make use of the recreation and BBQ facilities by tucking into a pre-packed picnic. Spend the afternoon on the green at Araluen Golf Resort or visit the Cohunu Koala Park to cuddle a koala and pet the various native animals. If you’ve timed your day trip from Perth well, you can spend the evening wandering one of the many seasonal night markets or instead indulging your taste buds at a local restaurant.
