Spring into Armadale is rapidly approaching and the time has now come to register your events for the Spring into Armadale calendar! Events (big and small!) can be submitted here to be promoted as part of the campaign through a variety of mediums. The Spring into Armadale season will begin in August and for the first time ever will run until the end of November to be extended by one month on previous years.

We are gearing up for an exciting four months filled with art, music, markets, and food and wine events. Planning is already well underway for some of our favourite events, like the Highland Gathering, Perth Kilt Run and the Armadale Hills Open Studio Arts Trail.

Armadale Visitor Centre 'Speed Dating evening'

On May 17 the Armadale Visitor Centre hosted their first networking evening of the year for staff and members.

It was a fantastic opportunity for staff to upskill on their knowledge about our members and learn how we can help promote their businesses. It was also wonderful to see members networking with each other and forming partnerships to help their businesses grow.

Koalas, Kangaroo's and Camel's! *All in a day with Perth Platinum Tours

Perth Platinum Tours are excited to announce the introduction of two brand new tours featuring the Perth Hills region and surrounds. Sometimes the best adventures can be found in our own backyard so if you are looking for a fun family day out or get together with friends these tours are for you!  

The ‘Camel and Native Wildlife Experience Tour’ takes passengers to Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre to hear about its history and get up close and personal with wallabies, echidnas, lizards snakes and more. The tour includes light lunch and a soft drink before continuing on to Calamunda Camel Farm in the beautiful Perth Hills to enjoy a ten minute camel ride through the bush (option to upgrade to 30 minute camel ride for an extra $35 per person).

Availability: Tours run on Thursdays and Sundays from 9am-3.30pm

The ‘Caversham Wildlife Park and Camel Ride Tour’ begins by travelling to Calamunda Camel Farm to enjoy a 30 minute camel ride through the bush, whilst learning about the camels, native flora and fauna, bush tucker and native Aboriginal culture from your guide. Afterwards, the tour will continue to Mundaring Weir to walk across the dam and soak up incredible views. After a light lunch (included) the tour concludes with a visit to Caversham Wildlife Park, enjoy a live farm show, pat a koala, feed the kangaroos and enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the Park.

Cancellation of Ticketek and Ticketmaster Provision

From 1 July the Armadale Visitor Centre will no longer act as a ticketing agent for Ticketek and Ticketmaster.

Ticketek and Ticketmaster are online services, with all tickets available to be purchased online.

Residents that don’t have access to a home computer or electronic divide can use the computers and mobile printing service at the Armadale, Seville Grove and Kelmscott libraries to purchase and print tickets.

New Stock! - Mount Romance has landed on our shelves

Mount Romance logo imageThe beautiful scent of Sandalwood has been drifting through the Armadale Visitor Centre since the arrival of Mount Romance products on our shelves. Sourced from Albany these locally produced beauty products are high in quality and easy on the purse strings, with prices starting as low as $6.95!

Our range in the Centre currently includes the Larrakin Mens product range, bath salts, candles and diffusers, the Nourish and Heal product range as well as a selection of lip care and 2b Young products.

Mount Romance’s products are sourced from fair trade sandalwood oil and the company supports Indigenous communities by sourcing their sandalwood through Indigenous harvesters.

Come and indulge and if we don’t have your favourite Mount Romance products let us know and we will order it in for you.
