The legacy of prominent local resident, Bert Tyler lives on at the Bert Tyler Vintage Machinery Museum, a marvellous collection of a time gone by.
The museum includes Bert's beloved Hornsby, Sunshine and Lister engines, as well as machinery from various vital trades of the Perth Hills region.
The attached Armadale Outpost Telegraph Centre and Communication Museum offers a compelling look of early telegraph communication such as Morse Code.
Morse code demonstrations and tours are available to booked groups, contact the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre to find out more.
