Birdwatching in Bungendore Park

The wonders of nature can be enjoyed anytime at Bungendore Park and springtime provides the perfect opportunity for a spot of birdwatching.

The park is rich in parrots, cockatoos and nectivorous birds that are attracted to flowering plants like Banksia, Marri and Parrot Bush.

A total of 100 species have been recorded in the Park including the Western Spinebill, Splendid Fairy-Wren, Yellow Robin and the Kookaburra.

Take a slow stroll along one of the many walk trails and see how many you can spot.

Walk trail maps and bird-identifying books are available from the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.
