We know, we’ve recommended it about a million times and will recommend it about a million more! With 150,000 reasons to visit, take the kids back to nature in the most colourful and bright way possible. This is a must visit for families with little nature lovers, or those with kids who love taking photos (is it actually possible to take a bad photo of a tulip display?). Make a day out of it with a picnic lunch or stop for a bite to eat at the Chalet Healy.

Spring into Raeburn

» Explore Raeburn Orchards

Pink and white blossoms and an adventure that even the four legged family members can enjoy? Yes please! Raeburn Orchards is one of the most instagrammable spots in Perth and a great place to reconnect with Armadale’s agricultural history. Stock up on fresh and locally grown produce from the packing shed onsite and trust us, local tastes better! Raeburn Orchards is open 7 days and blossoms are typically in bloom until the end of September, though the beauty of the Orchards can be experienced year-round. The cost for an orchard ramble is $5 for adults, with kids under 12 free.

Night Sky Tours at the Perth Observatory

If you’ve got a little scientist on your hands then a trip to the Perth Observatory is a must. There’s so much more to the night sky than what we see with our naked eye and the experts at the Observatory bring out the wonder of nebulas and dying stars. Browse the museum and check out the impressive collection of meteorites and astrophotography. Sessions vary in times but run most Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, $45 for adults and $20 for kids. Check dates and book online at the Perth Observatory.
