Looking for something different for your next group outing? We are ready to welcome your group to the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.

Located on site are the Bert Tyler Vintage Machinery Museum and the Armadale Replica First Post Office. We are now taking bookings for your group to come and visit, experience a museum history talk as well as a live Morse Code Demonstration followed by a light morning tea. The experience is completely free with public toilet facilities and coach parking available.

Triathlon at Champion Lakes

The Sun Smart Triathlon series is coming to Armadale with the event being held at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre 18 February. The series caters for all ages and fitness abilities and includes a combination of swimming, cycling and running across four categories; Pursuit, Enticer, Tadpoles and a Duathlon.

TriEvents have been in consultation with Venues West to ensure the venue and water quality meet the high standards required. Prize money is up for grabs and registrations are still open, so grab your friends and family and register now for a challenge like no other.

Whether you prefer beautiful botanic gardens, natural bushland or a gourmet experience we can find the perfect spot to suit you. Check out our top spots for;

Explorers
Make a splash at Serpentine Falls National Park, work up your appetite with a dip at the foot of the falls followed by a barbeque picnic lunch. Open daily 8.30am to 5pm, the park fills quickly on weekends and public holidays, so we recommend arriving prior to 10am to avoid missing out, entry fees apply.

Nature Lovers
Soak up the beauty of nature at Araluen Botanic Park. Picnic among heritage buildings, groomed gardens, terraces and bushland, or if you are feeling a little laid back, dine at the Chalet Healy café! Entry fees apply.

History Buffs
Experience stunning scenic beauty with captivating Western Australian history at Canning Dam. Walk trails are especially designed to take you past historical features, including the old contour channel and stilling chamber.

Culture Lovers
Head to Minnawarra Park in the heart of Armadale for a peaceful picnic by the lake. Be sure to check out the Minnawarra Historic Precinct to view important heritage buildings, rich with the culture of Armadale’s past.

Family Fun Seekers
Kids will love exploring Rushton Park. This little gem overlooks the Canning River with plenty of opportunities for nature play and discovery. Beautiful trees provide welcome shade over the two colourful kid’s playgrounds and there are free barbeque facilities and picnic tables available.

Foodies
Any self-proclaimed foodie simply must experience a gourmet picnic at Millbrook Winery. Millbrook provide everything you need for a sumptuous spread, including the rug, cutlery and glassware as well as local meats, cheeses, homemade pâté, freshly baked baguettes, desserts and more. Araluen's Blues in the Hills

A breathtaking evening of blues will be returning to Araluen’s amphitheatre 17 March for a beautiful summers evening under the trees and stars.

The evening will feature WA’s finest blues artists with musicians Braxton Hicks, Kerry B Ryan, Kim Bettenay and Matty T Wall taking to the stage.  Gather your family and friends and pack a picnic to enjoy while listening to the sultry sounds of blues.

The gates will open at 4pm for the event with music starting at 6pm, tickets will be available soon so stay tuned!
